The essential aim of yoga is to invite the mind to abide in its natural resting place -- the Heart.
After a tiresome journey through dense forests of thoughts, deserts of doubts, valleys of fear, and oceans of emotional waves, at long last the mind ceases its struggle and returns home to rest.
Whatever vehicle one uses to cross this vast terrain of ignorance is of no real import, as all yogic methods are only to establish the mind in the heart, where it can experience permanent peace and happiness.
